John 6:60-71
get this sermon here "Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.""
We at the Beenleigh Presbyterian Church are a group of people who believe in Jesus Christ. There are about thirty or so of us at the moment and not one of us is perfect. In fact we acknowledge that we are far from perfect and that is why we rely on Jesus alone to give us forgiveness and peace with God. The Bible, including all its teaching, dominates what we do. We work together to understand it because we know that we learn there about our Lord Jesus Christ. We have various levels of understanding of the Bible and we range in age from two to ‘in the vicinity of eighty’ but everyone has an important place in the life of the Church. Because Jesus Christ cares for us, we care for one another. Or should we say, we certainly try to care for one another but like everything else we do, it is never perfect. Other imperfect people who would like to learn about Jesus are always welcome to join us.
